Guest guest Posted July 10, 2001 Report Share Posted July 10, 2001 I made this a couple of weeks ago and it was delicious. @@@@@ Border Guacamole | Mesa Mexicana by Fenniger/Milliken | 5 ripe avocados, preferably Haas 6 tbsp fresh cilantro, chopped 1 med red onion, diced 4 jalapeno chiles, stem, seed & finely dice 3 tbsp lime juice, freshly squeezed 1.5 tsp salt 1/2 tsp black pepper shredded lettuce, for serving sliced tomatoes | Cut the avocados into quarters. Remove the seeds, peel and place in a mixing bowl. Mash with a potato masher or fork until chunky. Add the remaining ingredients and combine with a fork. Mound on a bed of shredded lettuce and garnish with sliced tomatoes.
