sorry Judith. That mc feature to repeat last author is a devil! every time I

edit a recipe, mc grabs all the source fields for reuse. wish there was another

way to use that feature..

Red Lentil Dhal

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

4 cups filtered water

2 cups red lentils -- sorted and washed

2 teaspoons curry powder

1/2 teaspoon sea salt

freshly ground black pepper

2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil

or unsalted butter (optional)

 

1. In medium saucepan, put water, beans and curry powder. Bring to a boil,

reduce flame, simmer 20 mins.

 

2. Stir in salt and pepper and if desired olive oil or butter.

 

IDEAS: Serve as side dish with barley and onions, etc.
