Guest guest Posted July 2, 2001 Report Share Posted July 2, 2001 * Exported from MasterCook * Chicken Style Noodle Soup LLUMC Recipe By :Loma Linda University Medical Center Serving Size : 10 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Soups Vegetarian Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1 1/4 ounces noodles 1 1/2 teaspoons dehydrated parsley 1/2 cup sliced carrots 1/4 cup dehydrated onions 1 tablespoon chicken flavoring 3/4 cup Worthington diced-canned chicken 1/2 cup diced celery 3 tablespoons wheat starch 5 cups water 2 tablespoons water Step 1: Place all ingredients except wheat starch and 2 tablespoons water in a large pot. Simmer until vegetables and noodles are tender. Step 2: Combine 2 tablespoons water and wheat starch to form a paste. Add to soup for thickening. Step 3: Bring to boil, simmer until vegetables are the desired consistency. Serve hot.
