Cover and set aside. In saucepan over medium heat, combine cornstarch with 1/4 cup of broth. Stir until cornstarch dissolves. Add remaining broth and bring to a boil. Reduce heat, stirring constantly until thickened. In a large serving bowl, toss vegetables, pasta, and Parmesan cheese. Mix thoroughly and serve promptly.
