Almost No Fat Spinach Dip Tofu

1 10.25-oz package kikkoman soft tofu (290g) drained

or firm tofu (297g), drained

1/2 cup lowfat sour cream

10 ounces frozen chopped spinach -- thawed and well-drained

1 1.4-oz pkg. dry vegetable soup mix

 

Place tofu and sour cream in blender or food processor container; cover and

process on medium speed until smooth. Combine with spinach and soup mix. Cover

and refrigerate at least 2 hours to blend flavors.

 

Description:

" While tasting just like the original, tofu replaces all of the mayonnaise and

2/3 of the sour cream, reducing the fat by over 80%. "

3262mg Sodium. Exchanges: 1 1/2 Grain(Starch); 2 1/2 Lean Meat; 2 1/2

Vegetable; 1 1/2 Fat; 1 Other Carbohydrates.

 

Serving Ideas : crackers, chips, vegetables or bread (French, Italian or

sourdough)

 

NOTES : Kikkoman makes two types of tofu -- soft (290g) and firm (297g) -- both

Silken style. Both are available in shell stable packages that need no

refrigeration.
