Guest guest Posted June 28, 2001 Report Share Posted June 28, 2001 * Exported from MasterCook * Poppy Seed and Sour Cream Pasta Recipe By :Jane Sen Serving Size : 4 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 8 ounces whole wheat pasta 1/2 cup lemon juice -- scant 1/2 cup 2 tablespoons olive oil 1 tablespoon miso 1 tablespoon tamari soy sauce 8 ounces tofu 1/3 cup chopped fresh chives 1/4 cup poppy seeds ground black pepper, to taste pinch paprika Serves 4 to 6. Cook pasta until tender. Drain. Blend next 6 ingredients until smooth in a food processor (if you use a blender, you may need to add a little water to keep it moving.) Stir the poppy seeds into the cream and mix into the pasta. Turn iinto a greased, ovenproof dish, sprinkle with some ground black pepper and paprika and bake in a preheated 350F oven for about 20 minutes.
