Granola Chocolate Chippers

1/4 cup tahini

1/4 cup water

1/3 cup whole wheat pastry flour

1/3 cup applesauce

1/2 cup granola of choice

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 cup granola

1/2 cup walnuts -- toasted and chopped

1/2 cup chocolate or carob chips*

 

Preheat oven to 350F. Put the first 6 items in a food processor and blend for a

few seconds until creamy. Scrape mixture into a medium bowl.

 

Stir in the granola, walnuts, and chips. Drop cookie dough in tablespoonfuls

onto a baking sheet and press down. Bake 18 minutes at 350F.

 

*Look for unsweetened carob chips.
