Guest guest Posted June 14, 2001 Report Share Posted June 14, 2001 * Exported from MasterCook * Kale and Mushroom Leek Recipe By :A Celebration of Wellness Serving Size : 0 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1 pound mushrooms -- halved 1 bunch kale -- stems trimmed, leaves chopped 2 leeks -- chopped 3 garlic cloves 2 tablespoons Dr. Bronner's bouillon or aminos 1/2 tablespoon lemon juice 1/4 teaspoon sage 1/4 teaspoon oregano 1/2 teaspoon basil pinch cayenne pepper Steam mushrooms, kale, and leek until tender in 2 cups of water. Puree veggies in a food processor with some steam water, then transfer back to a cookng pot. Stir in spices and some steam water. Simmer before serving. Add water if you want a thinner consistency.
