APPLE COBBLER

Filling:

1 can apple pie filling -- (16 ounce)

2 Tablespoons brown sugar

1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

Biscuit topping:

1 cup flour

1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder

2 Tablespoons sugar

1/2 cup soy milk

3 Tablespoons melted margarine

 

1) Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

2) Place the apple pie filling, sugar and extra cinnamon in a saucepan and

heat gently.

3) Next place this hot fruit in a shallow baking dish and set aside.

4) In another mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder and sugar.

Slowly add the milk and melted margarine, stirring gently as it forms a smooth

dough.

5) Pat the dough into small round balls, approximately 2 inches in diameter,

then flatten to ¼-1/2 inch thickness. Place these individual dough balls over

the hot fruit. Make sure the entire surface is covered with the dough.

6) Bake approximately 15 minutes or until the biscuits are slightly brown and

cooked through.
