Guest guest Posted June 12, 2001 Report Share Posted June 12, 2001 * Exported from MasterCook * Tomato Red Pepper Mousse Recipe By :A Celebration of Wellness Serving Size : 0 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 2 cups water 1/2 cup agar flakes 1/2 cup tahini 6 ounces tomato paste 1/4 cup nutritional yeast flakes 2 1/2 tablespoons lemon juice 1 tablespoon onion powder 1 teaspoon garlic powder (or 2 cloves garlic) 1 teaspoon sea salt dash cayenne pepper 1/3 cup roasted red pepper -- minced Whisk together water and agar flakes in a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to medium low, sttirring now and then for a few minutes more. Put all the ingredients into a blender (except red pepper), and blend well. Stir red pepper into the mixture by hand. Put mixture into a lightly oiled mold and chill for 2 hours until set. Unmold before serving.
