Guest guest Posted June 12, 2001 Report Share Posted June 12, 2001 This morning I thank Pat for all the Garden Burger recipes! * Exported from MasterCook * Besto Pesto Recipe By :A Celebration of Wellness Serving Size : 0 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1/3 cup pine nuts 1 tablespoon garlic -- chopped 1/3 cup fresh packed cilantro leaves -- chopped 1/3 cup fresh packed basil leaves -- chopped 1 tablespoon lemon juice 1 cup tomato -- chopped 1/2 teaspoon sea salt Put everything into a food processor, except the tomatoes, and pulse several times. Stop to scrape down the sides and repeat. Add the tomatoes and continue to pulse chop until just blended. Keep a texture to the pesto, it should not be a puree. Chill or serve. Description: " A fresh pesto that is delicious as a dip or as a stuffing for mushroom caps, or celery ribs, spread on crackers or bread, or serve over pasta.
