Avgolemono Sauce

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

10 ounces soft silken tofu

1/4 cup lemon juice

1 teaspoon garlic -- minced

1 tablespoon liquid aminos

1/2 tablespoon onion powder

1 tablespoon arrowroot powder

1/4 cup water

1 teaspoon honey

cracked black pepper to taste

pinch turmeric for a nice golden color

1/4 teaspoon freshly grated nutmeg

 

Blend in blender.

 

Transfer to small pot and whisk together as it thickens at medium heat. Top

with extra grated nutmeg and serve warm.
