Guest guest Posted June 11, 2001 Report Share Posted June 11, 2001 * Exported from MasterCook * Mushroom Sauce Recipe By :A Celebration of Wellness Serving Size : 6 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 4 cups mushrooms -- chopped fine 1/2 cup red onions -- chopped fine 1 1/2 tablespoons lemon juice 1 tablespoon liquid aminos 2 1/4 cups water 2 tablespoons arrowroot powder 2 garlic cloves -- pressed 1 tablespoon tahini freshly grated nutmeg to taste cracked black pepper to taste Saute mushrooms and onions in lemon and aminos on low heat for about 5 minutes in a wok or large skillet. Blend water, arrowroot, garlic, and tahini until thoroughly blended; stir into mushroom saute. Stir and heat till almost boiling, reduce heat, stirring until thick.
