Guest guest Posted June 7, 2001 Report Share Posted June 7, 2001 * Exported from MasterCook * Fresh Apricot Crisp Recipe By :Paul Wenner Serving Size : 8 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 4 cups apricots -- pitted and coarsely chopped 2 tablespoons lemon juice 2 cups rolled oats 3/4 cup walnuts -- finely chopped 1/2 cup maple syrup 1 teaspoon vanilla 1/2 teaspoon salt vegetable oil spray Preheat the oven to 350F. Toss the chopped apricots with the lemon juice and set aside. Combine the rolled oats with the chopped walnuts, maple syrup, vanilla, and salt. Mix thoroughly. Spray a 9-inch square baling pan lightly with a nonstick spray. Spread all but 1 cup of the oat mixture in the pan. Spread the apricots evenly over the mixture in the pan. Top with the remaining oat mixture. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes, until the top crust is lightly browned. Description: " A divine dessert that is simple to make.
