Tofu " Chicken "

1 pound firm tofu

3 tablespoons chicken-style seasoning (vegetarian)

 

Dice the tofu into 1/2-by-1-inch-long pieces. In a medium bowl, combine 3

tablespoons water and the chicken-style seasoning. Add the tofu to the mixture

and marinate for 15 to 20 minutes. After marinating, place the cubes on a

nonstick baking sheet and bake 1 1/2 hours in a 200F oven, turning occasionally.

The tofu will brown slightly and will shrink to about half its original size.

Remove from the oven and use in recipes or store in the refrigerator.
