Banana Frappe

6 bananas -- peeled and broken into 1-inch pieces

2 cups milk: almond, soy, rice, or nonfat dairy

milk

2 tablespoons chopped dates

1/4 teaspoon nutmeg

3 cups crushed ice

additional nutmeg, for sprinkling

 

Place the bananas, milk, dates, and nutmeg into a blender and process on high

speed uuntil smooth. Add the ice and blend another 1 to 2 minutes. Pour into 4

glasses and garnish with a sprinkle of nutmeg.
