Chile Tempeh Tacos

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

1 package tempeh -- steamed for 5 minutes

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1 tablespoon aminos (or soy sauce)

2 teaspoons chile powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon cumin

cabbage, as needed -- finely shredded

fresh tomato salsa, as needed

corn tortillas, as needed

avocodo slices, as needed

Creamy Ranchero Dressing for sauce

 

Cut tempeh into 1/2 " thick strips. Mix together the lemon and soy sauce. Dip

tempeh in sauce.

 

Shake together dry spices and dip tempeh strips into them. Broil each side of

tempeh a few minutes.

 

Heat tortillas on a griddle, put broiled tempeh in center of each tortilla.

Fill with cabbage, salsa, and sauce.
