Guest guest Posted May 29, 2001 Report Share Posted May 29, 2001 * Exported from MasterCook * Universal Tofu Pancake Recipe By :A Celebration of Wellness Serving Size : 4 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1 package silken tofu 1/2 cup vanilla 'lite' soy milk 1 tablespoon honey 1/2 ripe banana 1 tablespoon vegetable oil 1 cup whole wheat pastry flour 1 tablespoon baking powder Preheat a griddle on medium heat for 5 minutes, then turn to low. Blend the first 5 ingredients. Mix the flour and baking powder in a bowl. Whisk wet into dry. Let sit for a couple of minutes. Lightly oil griddle, spoon on batter, spreading thinly to desired size. When bubbles appear, flip over. Pancakes will flip easily if griddle is sufficiently hot and if pancakes are cooked through. Description: " Vanilla and banana add flavor to this light pancake.
