Guest guest Posted May 29, 2001 Report Share Posted May 29, 2001 * Exported from MasterCook * Beets and Onions Recipe By :Jean Pare Serving Size : 4 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1/2 tablespoon lemon juice 1 teaspoon parsley flakes 1/4 teaspoon salt 1 tablespoon cooking oil 2 cups fresh beets -- peeled and diced 2 small red onion -- sliced 1 tablespoon hard margarine (or butter) Stir lemon juice, parsley and salt in small bowl. Set aside. Heat wok or frying pan on medium-high. Add cooking oil. Add beets. Stir-fry for 4-5 mins. Add red onion. Stir-fry for about 1 min. Stir in lemon juice mixture. Add margarine. Stir to melt.
