Guest guest
Dear Robin, I have a million ideas...but granted, it depends on what you want for your child (is she skinny and needs extra calories, is she a vegan, what are her likes and dislikes). My suggestion is to ask her what she craves in the morning and go from there. My daughter wanted something sweet and crunchy. She loves toasted bagels with vegan cream cheese and fresh in season fruits on top. It is very easy to do (about five minutes) and no mess! We put nuts in the " cream cheese. " Also, as a staple, we have oatmeal that we add fruit, " yogurt " with fresh fruit and a granola bar, and just about any cereal (that doesn't have high fructose corn syrup) sprinkled on top! There are endless vegan and veggie choices! Check out your local library and used book store for more ideas. I found a great deal of info from the " Friends " used book store in Wheaton, MD.
