Dietary restrictions at school

This happened to me as well, however my Dr., who knows us well, had no problems

with writing a note. I would be a little disapointed with her if she had asked

me to write the note and then she would sign it " if she agreed with it " . I

might have suggested to her that I find another doctor if that had happened.

 

I actually have to get two notes, one stating that my daughter does not eat meat

and one that states that she is intolerant to milk.

 

My husband did some investigative work and determined that the best course of

action, although a little dishonest, was to say that she is vegetarian for

religious reasons. Now where we are here in the south, if anyone does anything

for religious reasons, there are usually no questions.
