Guest guest
> Which solar cooker are you using? We've been looking We were given a home-made one. But I suspect it came from some kind of kit. It is hard to describe and I am not sure doing so would help you much since it wouldn't necessarily help you find the same one. It is sort of a half circle that the food goes inside. The curves allow you to focus it at the sun. Then there is like a collar of reflective material. All black inside and a thermometer. It gets up to around 200 fairly easily. So like a slow cooker. I have seen solar cookers on ebay. We also have a small $20 portable one from lehman's.com Fine for camping but I would recommend a serious one for home. Good luck with it -- and may there be more solar and less petroleum in your veggie-fueled future ... ~Paul -- Save Kyoto! www.mackenziewild.ca Join the Sierra Club www.sierraclub.ca/join Support Sierra Legal www.sierralegal.org
