Ten years ago when I was pregnant with my daughter, and later when I gave birth, her birth weight was attributed to how well I ate. No one knew that I was a quiet vegetarian, you know, the kind that put her meat in a napkin when no one was looking! It's also a very very cultural thing!! It talked about how various societies have used meat (or absence of meat) as a way to suppress women. By saying that men/boys need meat but women do not. Which is BS because we all know human beings do not need to eat animals. But still that's not the same thing as trying to convince someone that they can do something to change the sex of either an already conceived child or an unconceived (outside of conceiving it in a petri dish).
