Guest guest
Hi folks, I was just typing this up for a friend and thought some of you might enjoy it too. I make it with soy yogurt and vanilla Silk. My kids go back for thirds, even the one who usually isn't very interested in breakfast. Heather Birchermuslix Put this recipe together the evening before a busy morning, and you'll have a delicious, nutritious breakfast waiting for you that the whole family will enjoy. This mixes up quickly, especially if you use a bag of frozen fruit (it will thaw overnight in the muslix). 1 cup plain or flavoured yogurt 1 2/3 cups large flake oats (NOT cooked) 4 cups any mixed fruit 2-3 tbsp lemon juice 1-4 tbsp sugar (depending on whether you used plain or sweetened/flavoured yogurt) 3/4 to 1 cup milk, as needed Mix everything together, cover and put in the fridge overnight.
