Does anyone have a really good gluten-free sugar-type cookie? I am

prepping for DD birthday party and I have recently had to pull her off

gluten again(I am not really strict - she gets oats regardless of where

processed and I don't avoid cornstarch etc.).

I need a recipe that will make large cookies to frost as parting gifts -

no crumbling if possible. I am joining a gluten free site but expect

the use of eggs in many recipes.

Thanks,

Carrol

I e-mailed my two relatives who have Celiac and both said they don't

have a recipe like this. I just made gluten-free vanilla cupcakes from

Vegan Cupcakes Take Over the World this evening, and they are very good

-- maybe that could be an alternative if you can't find a cookie recipe.

Let me know if you'd like the recipe.

Carrol,

My son has allergies also to gluten and egg and diary. If you have a

favorite Vegan cookie recipe you can sub the flour cup for cup with

gluten free flour and 1 tsp of Xanthan gum. I have had great success

with this. The only thing that doesn't work out so great is sugar

ccokies. I think I have recipe for those somewhere if you would like.

There is also a called Vegan and gluten free which is

really great. They have archives with lots of cookie recipes ect. This

site lists a master recipe for cookies. I personally haven't tried

them but I know others have and liked the results. http://www.woggle-
