Guest guest
Dear Friends, As you may know, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has just announced that it intends to approve the sale of milk and meat from cloned animals. Scientists say that cloning could compromise the safety of our milk and meat. Also, cloning is a technology that is inherently cruel, often resulting in hideously deformed animals that suffer needlessly. The approval of cloning for food will subject millions of animals to this needless torture. Parents are especially concerned, since children's diets often disproportionately include milk. With allergies and other diet-related illnesses on the rise, parents worry that the unknown health and safety risks of cloning could affect their children. The approval of cloned animals for milk and meat production means that their children will be the first generation in history to be eating these untested foods for their entire lives. Since there are no long-term studies on the safety of these foods, the long-term experiment will be on our children. FDA is taking public comments now, through April 2. We hope that you can help stop animal cloning by sending your comment to FDA and/or posting a link to our FDA comments page at http://ga3.org/campaign/Cloning and/or our short (40 second) video on You Tube at Many thanks! Guest guest
See why I don't watch the news? Stuff like this makes me feel like my head is going to explode!!! If people didn't stuff themselves full of meat at every meal, it would have never come to this. How very sad.
