I don't know about the one in your area, but I was pleasantly surprised by the " natural " /organic aisle in the Kroger near my dad's place (northern Indiana). It's not as complete as a Whole Foods, of course, but I guess I was surprised that they did have many staples that we use, and at a reasonable price.
