Hi, friends,

I wanted to let you all know about a book I am reading by Dr.

Michael Greger called Bird Flu: A Virus of Our Own Hatching. Now the

U.S. Humane Society has made a 4 minute video summary of some of the

main points of the book. This is scary information, yet it is based

in current science - this is not bogus!

 

Just this month thousands of chickens had to be slaughtered in

England due to bird flu spreading there. Right now the only way for

humans to get it is to catch it from an infected bird, which limits

the spread as most people are not around chickens and they are

keeping infected ones out of the food chain. Authorities are

concerned, however, that the virus will mutate to become able to be

spread from human to human and that's when the pandemic could occur.
