Guest guest
Hi - I feel so blessed to have found this group!! I'm Beth, vegan eating homeschooling mom of two boys. My husband is an avid meat eater. We have not forced one way of eating or another on our children. My 10 yr old has now decided he wants to " eat vegan " also. We've had him so his own reading/research so he understands the choice he is making and we are sure it his really HIS decision. ANYWAY, lol, so we are a house with 2 meat eaters and two opposed. I first began the adventure in vegetarianism when I was 19 - about 20 years ago. Now that my son has begun his adventure, I need to make sure he is getting enough nutrients. What I've read he needs overwhelms me - omegas, protien, iron, B vitamins, etc. etc. We eat a very healthy and balanced diet, but this apparently is inadequate for a growing vegan? I'm sure this topic has been covered before. I would cherish any advice - old threads or new posts. Thanks a million! Beth
