Guest guest
We got rid of the microwave when we got rid of the TV (about 8 years ago). We love not having a microwave and feel we tend to eat a lot better without it. We don't rely on processed foods as much (we also had our children in that timeframe so maybe we would have done this regardless). We do have toaster oven though. Most left overs are easy to reheat on the stove or in the oven or eat cold (I'm lazy if it is just me eating it). We are looking into a solar oven, speaking of the environmental aspect of things. Does anyone have one? Is there a brand you prefer? What is your experience? Thanks! Linda
Guest guest
Does a solar oven work like a dehydrator? We're trying to move away from eating mostly " dead " foods and purchased a great dehydrator from Excalibur and are loving it! - veganlinda Tuesday, January 30, 2007 12:59 PM Solar Ovens was Re: to microwave or not to microwave?
