We left 70+ degree weather in Raleigh in NC earlier this week. Can't believe it

snowed in Chapel Hill today!

For those of you who live/lived in/near Raleigh, can you suggest some nice

cities/subdivisions within a 45 minute driving distance to downtown Raleigh that

have new single family homes on wooded lots and at least .5 acres of land. We

may be relocating to NC due to a job prospect and we would like to grow some

organic foods on a larger scale than our container gardening on the deck of our

townhome!

It was around 74-75 in Raleigh on Monday - I know because I was sweating my

booty off. My daughter had a competition in Hillsborough (I'll share the video

even for those who want to see

she got

2nd place) then we drove to a pro shop in Raleigh after the competition and I

was dressed (for the rink) in jeans and a turtleneck. I meant to bring shorts

and a teeshirt to change into but forgot. It was 65 on Tuesday when I woke up.

Then on Thursday it dropped into the 30s I think. Then it snowed a little

yesterday morning but has melted by about 9:30am. Its in the 50s today. I

think summer is kind of over though.

Renee

ps we live North of Durham, close to an hour from downtown Raleigh I think out

of your range to suggest something
