Guest guest
I want to thank everyone who answered my question about raw veggies. I have 2 older children and can't rmemeber when I gave them raw veggies. My baby has had some ofthe softer foods but she is after the stuff that the older ones have. I got some good ideas from you all. Thanks Carol Sobczak owner Jewels of the Earth Vegan Baking vegetarian baked goods for all occasions jewelsoftheearthveggiebaking Get on board. Guest guest
Don't forget that you can give finely shredded carrots and other vegetables a lot earlier than a whole or even a piece of veggie. But it does vary from child to child as to when they will eat them. Just keep trying and encouraging. My daughter would refuse tomatoes until she was about three, but my son enjoyed them before he turned one. Kadee M <abbey_road3012 wrote: Something like that will be different for every child. We trusted my daughter with raw vegetables much earlier than we trusted my son. As for nuts, really watch those since they're quite a bit harder to chew than, say, a tomato or cucumber. Start out with things like avocado and pears that are easy to chew, then work from there. Only start them when she is really making a lot of effort to chew. I have a 2 year old and she is interested in everything my older children have. I am worried that she might choke. How about raw nuts.
