Guest guest
Hi Sarah, I think that Airborne is mostly vitamin C and ecineacia (I am sure that I spelled this incorrectly). I have been giving my daughter a chewable (three weeks on, one week off) since she was around 2-1/2. The only real " danger " would be a slight stomach upset (maybe a bit of diarhea) from too much vitamin C. They adjust to this in a few days. Guest guest
I sometimes use Airborne when I feel like I'm coming down with something. I give it to the kids if I remember I also sometimes give echinacea and zinc and C and other vitamins separately. Anyway, it would probably be OK to give the multi, but if you want to err on the side of caution, don't give the multi on that day because you will be going way over the RDA on Vit. A and Zinc (and perhaps others) and this might not be a good idea, long term. One day probably wouldn't hurt, though. Also, zinc supplements on an empty stomach can cause nausea so watch for that. I also wouldn't give a 5 year-old a full dose of Airborne, but I once bought the Airborne Jr. grape flavor and it was really really awful tasting! I hope this answers your question.
