we use the same soap for my boy, but i try to use gentler essential oils or

none at all. i've actually found that often he doesn't even need soap --

just a good rinsing does it. i mainly use the soap for his hair -- he has

really long hair for an 18-month-old and everything gets caught in it. we

are really obsessed with bodily cleanliness in this country (evidence: they

are STILL selling douches in most grocery stores even though you'd think

every woman under the sun would avoid those things like the plague!). we

try to do the minimum that we can do for him because of how sensitive his

skin is...and we've learned that with us too.
