Guest guest
We recently decided to become vegan (including our 14 month old son) after eating white meat and dairy. We're hoping to find a great pediatric nutritionist and pediatrician for our toddler to help and support us with this choice. Would appreciate any leads! And is there a vegan family support community in boston that meets on a regular basis? If not, please contact me and I'll start one! We also wanted to find out the best way to handle family and friends that repeatedly are telling us that we are harming our baby. We're planning to send them a copy of The China Study and How to Disease Proof Your Child (both books that led us to a vegan diet). Any other suggestions? Thanks and looking forward to being on this listserv! - Karen _____ On Behalf Of sarah gray Saturday, September 09, 2006 2:28 PM nutritional questions hi, i have a couple questions that i am seeking advice for. although i have been a vegetarian most of my life i have only been a vegan for a few months. recently i am having a lot of hair falling out. i am wondering if this is normal. also i had my yearly physical and my cholesterol is 63 and my doctor is alarmed at how low it is and i have a follow up apt. to see what can be done. i an concerned that she will try mo make me incorporate dairy into my diet. does any have any advice on how i can boost up my cholesterol to a healthy number? thanks sarah http://mail. <>
