Anytime you cook anything with sauce, or broth, etc, throw in a few cubes. throw a cube into hot cereal for breakfast, throw 5-10 cubes into tomato sauce at dinner. Use the cooking liquid as the base for a soup. If it's ready in your freezer, it's a lot easier to just toss a few cubes in and up your veggie intake! my other huge secret is the stick blender. tonight I made " refried bean dip " threw peppers, onions, zucchini, etc into a pan, sauteed till soft, threw in some beans... cook all for a few minutes, grab the stick blender and pureed it all up until it was a nice refried bean mush. bam. My suddenly picky 3 yr old now thinks it's beans and eats it up. same thing with pasta and tomato sauce - we make tons of that when they're picky, because it makes them think they are " winning " , and i can throw handfuls of frozen broccoli, cauliflower, etc in , hit it with the stick blender, and no one is the wiser! and veggie booty is never turned down in this house!
