Guest guest Posted May 24, 2006 Report Share Posted May 24, 2006 Banana Fajitas 2 Bananas 2 T Butter flavored popcorn oil [Orville Redenbacker's] or margarine 1/2 C granola [or oat meal] 2-3 T caramel sauce [or maple syrup or brown sugar] 1/4 C chopped walnuts or pecans [optional] In a cast iron skillet or fajita pan gently saute whole peeled bananas in small amount of oil or margarine, a minute or so on each side. Add granola or oat meal [and nuts], stir to coat with excess oil and cook another minute or two to get it toasty. Add caramel sauce or other sweetener, reduce heat to low, simmer 5 or so more minutes. .... Be kind. Be of good cheer.
