Does anyone have any recipes that you've TRIED and liked for rice pilaf?

I found rice pilaf in the bulk section of our health food store and bought some

to prepare for a big dinner we're having this weekend because it was so

colorful. (It contains yellow and green split peas, red lentils, different types

of rice, etc.)

The problem is I have no idea how to cook it other than in salt and water.

Thanks!

Wanted to point out, because I learned this the hard way, that all the colour

will fade out during cooking, so it won't be half as pretty when done.

Check out the star system for recipes. 5 stars is rated great by those

trying the recipe and 1 star for not very good. You can read the reviews

that other wrote that have tried that recipe. I love this site and use it

all the time. The rating is given by folks like you and me that have tried

that particular recipe and give feedback for others who might want to try

that recipe.
