Guest guest
Una, There are several suggestions that I have. First, since she has had more antibiotics than you'd like, I'd suggest vegan acidophilus. That will help put back the normal bacteria into her digestive tract. There are chewables on the market, or powder that you can mix into applesauce or soy yogurt. Small meals might help. Smoothies are great way to add quality to her diet. You asked about Omega fatty acids. As I've mentioned here before, I'm a big fan of hemp. I pulled my bag of Nutiva shelled hemp seeds. For 2 tbsp of seeds : 5 g Omega 6- LA, 2g Omega 3 ALA, .4 g Super Omega 6 GLa, and .2g Super Omega 3 SDA. You can get hemp powder and Flax powder. The seeds can be used in salads, smothies, cereal, soups, and veggies. They also help with sustainable agriculture. The wider your daughter's siet, the better her appetite will be. Try nut butter sandwiches too. Hope this helps. Peace, Laura in MD Does anyone have any suggestions on how to increase my 2year old daughter's appetite?
