We I also had no blackstrap molasses, but used regular molasses. They were phenomenal! My 3 yr old had 3 of them yesterday before I made him stop! He and my one year old had them for breakfast and loved them! Plus: my son loved making them with me, since I got out the potato masher and let him mash the bananas!
