Guest guest
OK...while we're on the subject...grin.... This is the third year in a row that this has happened. Right around the end of November into about mid-winter, my forearms get very itchy...one much more so than the other, from the wrist back about 3 " and just on the top of the arm. It doesn't get scaly or flake. Looks normal. Anticipating this, I start with extra EFA from nuts. flax seeds, olive oil and the occasional avocado. I drink lots of water. I (always) use only natural HBA's and laundry detergent. I am veggie, almost vegan. Mostly organic. I take a good multi- vitamin. I keep the itching at bay by using homeopathic creams and lotions. Haven't seen a dr, as this just isn't worth a trip in. I am in my mid-50's. Would appreciate any thoughts on this. Thanks! Ilene

I eat plenty of them, use a very mild glycerin-based soap and don't take too many baths (I know, it sounds grungy, but it depends on where you are; in a very dry place, baths or showers once or twice a week; in a humid place, a two-minute shower three nights out of four. The point is, somewhat less than seven full-lenghth hot-water baths in a seven day period; it's the hot water and harsh soap which causes the problem; being winter, sweat which normally replenishes the skin isn't a factor, and the skin suffers). ~DJ Correo Espacio para todos tus mensajes, antivirus y antispam ¡gratis!
