thank you all for the big welcome!! It's like you all are standing there with

your arms open for a big ole hug!! Made my day at work go better!

 

Now to respond to a few of you!

 

Matthew ... I am in southern Maine - and if you remember Maine... I am about

20 miles west of Wells Beach area... very touristy area (is touristy even a

word!?)

 

Joanie in WA... oh my dear... what's the weather out there like??? Here in my

little world it started out nice and sunny and a whopping 43 degrees ... which

is a bit above seasonal here... and it is going to rain later and then maybe

thunder and then maybe be nice.. our little saying in Maine is... " if you don't

like the weather, just wait 5 minutes.. " - he he he, anyway, I hope that your

prediction of no stress comes to be because w/teenage kids and my work... oh

my... (picture susie with fingers crossed hoping that Joanie is right!!)

 

Marsha... I have already been checking out recipes in the files and I so am

headed home after work to try some new recipes on my Brussel Sprouts - yum yum

yum... and did I mention YUM! and as soon as I can come up with something that

is caliber stuff... I will post it! I have all these wonderful recipes I wanna

make sure I live up to the level you all are accustomed to!!

 

Donna... I love your name... I have lilacs that I planted last year that

I cant wait for them to start blooming!! as for other things growing... well,

nothing is just yet - it is all still dormant from winter BUT!!! I have a

little herb garden... (and I mean little) - just the basics... sage, thyme,

oregano, basil, echinacea (probably not spelled right) and chives... and then a

small border garden nothing too difficult to grow.. daylilies...um... lilacs...

um... some other fuzzy things... lamb's ear.. and I dont remember the rest

without checking my tags I saved...kinda scatter brained that way... LOL - Your

pansies are lucky to have you!
