Guest guest Posted April 5, 2006 Report Share Posted April 5, 2006 Spicy Mandarin Chickpeas 2 19 ounce cans chickpeas, rinsed and drained 2 10.5 ounce cans mandarin oranges, drained 1/4 cup strawberry jam 2 tablespoons spicy brown mustard 1/2 teaspoon cayenne Heat all the ingredients in a medium size pot over medium heat for 10 minutes. I have discovered that the next day, if you take the leftovers (there's only 2 of us in my household) and spread them out on a cookie sheet, bake at 400 for about 15 minutes, you get a nice crunchy snack.
