truffle oil and new members

Hi to all the new members, I don't get on computer much but I do log

in to search files for a recipe to print out and use frequently.

 

 

Erin - I had a pasta salad that was tossed with truffle oil, it was

slightly earthy but not much of a taste at all. I wouldn't bother

spending money on it but someone else might not mind. I had the same

pasta salad tossed with walnut oil and it was 3 times more flavorful.

I'm thinking maybe some places say truffle oil...and perhaps it's

really oil with a tiny hint of truffle??
