Guest guest
i love this recipe for breadsticks because i confess i am a lazy-butt when it comes to making yeast breads; give me a quick bread recipe any day though! *lol* Soft Breadsticks 1 1/4 cups flour 2 tsp sugar 1 1/2 tsp baking powder 1/2 tsp salt 2/3 cup milk 3 Tbs butter or margarine, melted 2 tsp sesame seeds In a small bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Gradually add milk and stir to form a soft dough. Turn onto a floured surface, knead gently 3-4 times. Roll into a 10 inch x 5 inch x 1/2 inch rectangle; cut into 12 breadsticks. Place butter in a 13 in. x 9 in. x 2 in. baking pan. Place breadstick in the butter and turn to coat. Sprinkle with sesame seeds. Bake at 450 for 14-18 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm.
