Guest guest
I ate this with dinner last night. I enjoyed the texture and flavor of this new cornbread recipe I tried. Here you go: Sage Cornbread 1 cup flour 3/4 cup cornmeal 1/2 tsp. baking sode 1 1/2 tsp baking powder 1/4 tsp. salt 1 to 1 1/2 heaping tsps. dried sage, chopped 1 cup buttermilk 2 Tbls. honey or maple syrup 2 eggs 3 Tbls. butter or margarine, melted Preheat oven to 425 degrees and grease a 9X9-inch pan (round or square pan) Mix the first 5 (dry) ingredients in a bowl and set aside. In another bowl, beat the buttermilk, honey, eggs and butter together. Add the dry ingridents to the wet mixture and stir enough to moisten. Pour batter into prepared pan. Bake for about 17 minutes. Test with a toothpick. In-a-gadda-da-vida, honey, Don't you know that I love you? In-a-gadda-da-vida, baby, Don't you know that I'll always be true? Oh, won't you come with me And take my hand? Oh, won't you come with me And walk this land? Please take my hand! Source - Iron Butterfly - In A Gadda Da Vida Messenger with Voice.
