Guest guest Posted April 1, 2006 Report Share Posted April 1, 2006 Hi Paula...here's a good sprout recipe (from Joanie): Lemon Brussels Sprouts 1-1/2 lb. fresh brussels sprouts (about 2-1/2 cups), trimmed 1 tsp. lemon juice 2 garlic cloves, minced 1/8 tsp. salt 1/8 tsp. ground black pepper 1/3 cup butter or stick margarine Cut an " X " in the core of each sprout. Place in a sauce pan; add 1 inch of water. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 10 to 12 minutes or until crisp tender. Drain. In a large skillet, saute the sprouts, lemon juice, garlic, salt and pepper in butter for 2 to 3 minutes or until flavors are blended. Yield: 6 servings.
