Guest guest
Hey Jade, since you live in NYC I was wondering if you've had the chance to try out any of the plethora of all vegan restaurants there. If so, what are your favorites ? I would love to visit Candle Cafe'. I have their cookbook. Denise W. Candle Cafe is definitely one of my favorites. A few other favorties include Gobo, Red Bamboo and Angelica. Hope you can check them out sometime. You can look at their menus for ideas at www.menupages.com and just type in the names. Its brilliant, actually. And I have gotten a ton of ideas just from reading their menus! Guest guest
Ok, so I now have a new favorites folder: " restaurants to try " . The menu at Red Bamboo didn't appeal to me as much as the others because it is loaded with non vegetarian wanna be stuff, kwim? I'm weird that way. I like vegetarian food that is what it is but chicken that isn't chicken, etc. - no thanks. When I 1st started looking at the menu, I went back to see if it really was a vegetarian restaurant! Thanks, Jade! Jade Barrett <jzbarrett wrote: Candle Cafe is definitely one of my favorites. A few other favorties include Gobo, Red Bamboo and Angelica.
