Guest guest
Cornmeal Sesame Pancakes Mix: 2 cups cornmeal 1/2 cup sesame seeds 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. baking soda Mix in separate bowl: 1 cup sour cream 1 cup milk or more depending on thickness 2 Tbsp. honey 2 Tbsp. ghee or oil Combine wet and dry ingredients and stir just enough to mix. If you have some small pieces of dry flour that's okay. Add enough milk so you can spoon it fairly thick on the griddle (like most pancake batters) Heat griddle to about medium. Lightly brown on both sides. New Messenger with Voice. Call regular phones from your PC and save big.
Guest guest
Do you top these with anything like maple syrup, eat along as a side dish or for breakfast. I use sunflower seeds often and these sound very good. Thanks, Donna Guru Khalsa <greatyoga wrote: Cornmeal Sesame Pancakes Mix: 2 cups cornmeal 1/2 cup sesame seeds 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. baking soda Mix in separate bowl: 1 cup sour cream 1 cup milk or more depending on thickness 2 Tbsp. honey 2 Tbsp. ghee or oil Combine wet and dry ingredients and stir just enough to mix. Guest guest
Donna, you can put anything you want on top. I usually don't like to tell peopple in recipes because everyone has their own toppings. Some pancakes are better with special toppings though. I usually put ghee and maple syrup on top or bananas or a fruit syrup. I usually just heat up some strawberries or blueberries and mix with honey.
