Usually Spatterware have cast iron or iron alloy cores or they can have aluminum cores. (the metal that is under the enamel). If the enamel coating is intact, it is probably a pretty " healthy " pan. It there is chipped enamel and the exposed metal rusts, it is most likely not aluminum. Aluminum. like Teflon, is often considered a less " healthy " type of cookware. I try to only cook with stainless steel or glass cookware, but I do have a couple of cast iron ones, including an enamelware roaster.
